Hello everyone & welcome!  My Name is Derek Baldridge & I am a 5th grade teacher here at Key Elementary.  This is my first year at Key and I am thrilled be working with such great staff & students!

I graduated from Broken Arrow High School and received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University in 2011.   I started teaching in the gifted & talented program at Aspen Creek and later moved to McClure Elementary as a 4th grade teacher.

My wife, Laura, and I live in Bixby with our sons, Keller(8) and Elias(7).   We have 3 dogs & 2 cats (crazy, I know) that keep our life interesting.  I also have a wedding photography business that takes up most of my weekend time.  In my free time I love to check out new technology, travel, hike, camp & just generally be outdoors.
